Thomas William Lustik, 65, of Harrisburg, NC passed away at his home on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Tom was born December 16, 1958, in Rockville Centre, New York, to the late Charles Frances Lustik and the late Gloria Victoria Wirfel Lustik. He was also preceded in death by his infant son, Joshua Thomas and his brother in law Edward Goller.
Tom worked in the Computer Science field for Banking and Finance for nearly 40 years and was a master problem solver. He was the most wonderful husband, father, and friend. Tom was a talented craftsman. He built captains beds for each of his boys, a shed stronger than our home, desks which now reside in their homes, and the boys’ childhood playhouse. All are still standing strong after 25 years. Tom was an avid lover of music and film having over 65,000 songs in his collection and all the classic films of the past 30 years. He will be most remembered and missed for how fiercely he loved his family.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Maureen Lustik of Harrisburg; loving sons Zachary of Concord, NC, Thomas of Charlotte, NC, and Jacob of Bristol, TN; dear sister Janet (Jim) Goller and brothers Charles (Marilyn) and Kenneth (Robert) Lustik; in-laws Paul and Jane Garvey, brother and sisters in law Molly (Ron) Rubino, Chip (Belle) Garvey. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, November 8th, 2024 at St James the Greater Catholic Church in Concord, officiated by Fr. Glenn Parker.
