Thomas Mahan Obituary
Thomas “Tommy” Mahan, 86, a native of Kiser, AR and resident of Des Allemands, LA passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
Visitation will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, in Paradis, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, starting at 10:00 A.M. until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon with burial to follow in the Mennonite Cemetery.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 66 years, Berdie M. Mahan; children, Robin Ledet (Danny), Karmann Samaha (Darryl), Nancy Fremen (Warren “Duddy”); 10 grandchildren, Sandi Martin (Jonathan), Daniel Ledet (Angela), Devin Samaha (Kara), Drew Samaha (Allyson), Brody Samaha (Jordan), Brennen Samaha (Katelyn), Nathan Fremen (Katie), Austin Fremen (Paige), Cameron Fremen (Jazzlyn), Madison Fremen (fiancé, Arnel); 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gerald Mahan (Deanie), Joy Robert (Whitie), and David Mahan (Sharon) and sister-in-law, Linda L. “Lyn” Mahan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffrey “Jeff” and Dorothy “Dot” Mahan; brother, Jimmie A. “Jim” Mahan and great-grandson, Noah Ledet.
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Tommy’s memory.
