To Mr McCarthy's family I just want to say how sadden I am by his passing. I waited on Mr McCarthy for over 25 years at the M & T Bank on Seneca St. He was always a pleasure to wait on when he came in with his beautiful smile. He always made me feel so special. May he rest in peace.

Mr. McCarthy was such a comfort in our time of loss and need in the death of our dad Edward E Osborne, mother Elizabeth McCarthy, brother Edward, sister Joan Elizabeth. He was so kind I was very young when I lost my dad, and Mr. McCarthy was like a father to me. May he rest in peace dear cousin.....

To Mary Ellen and the McCarthy Family,
Deepest sympathy in your loss of Tom, who was such a wonderful person, both as a former business associate and a good friend. It was our great joy to have known him in the years we were at Sieck & Mast, and to have been accepted so graciously into the McCarthy Family circle for special events and other memorable times. He was truly a Christian example to all, and will be deeply missed.
May the Lord be with you,
Rick & Marcia Mast

Our deepest sympathies to the McCarthy family, on the passing of the esteemed Funeral Director, retired fireman, friend, neighbor and family member, Thomas H. McCarthy. Mr. McCarthy was liked and admired by legions of South Buffalo families who were guided through many difficult family-passings, by the kind-hearted grace of a true gentleman. But, it was his family that held his greatest allegiance and meant the most to him. The map of Ireland lit his face when he smiled and greeted friends. The quiet words of solace, at a funeral, were a reaffirmation of faith and friendship to those who sought his help in difficult times. May the celestial roads rise up to meet you, Tom. And the heavenly winds be always at your back.
