It is with great respect and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Thomas Ray McPeak fondly known as “Butch” departed this life on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the age of 76.
He was born on April 24, 1948, in Gurdon, Arkansas to the union of Hamp McPeak and Nancy Edmonson McPeak. Thomas was a graduate of Bell High School. He was simple man who enjoyed the simple things that life offered.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Margaret Roquemore.
Butch leaves to cherish his memory; his companion and best friend, Chirhonda Parham of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Katrina McPeak of Los Angeles, CA and LaVonne McPeak of Pomona, CA; three grandchildren; Shannettea Gamble, Demetria Brooks, and Lee Andrea Johnson and five great-grandchildren; Harmoni Greenwood, Jayden Gamble, Jeremiah Pignie, Jeriah Pignie, and Serenity Bell.
He also leaves his only brother Merlin Joe (Deloris) McPeak of Gurdon, AR and a sister, Doris Anderson of Los Angeles, CA. He leaves five nephews Michael Anderson, Keith Anderson, Calvin Anderson, Kenny Anderson, and Steve Anderson. Five nieces Tiffany (LaSette) McPeak, Judy McPeak, Tijuana (John) Richardson, Tammy Jones, andTameka (Christopher)Mason.
In honor of Thomas’s life, family and friends will gather for a celebration of his journey on Saturday December 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home with Rev. John Richardson, officiating.
The family hour will take place from 1:00 PM until service time. Per his request he will be cremated.
