Thomas "Tommy" Lloyd Moore, a resident of New Salem, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the age of 73.
Tommy was born on November 20, 1952 to the late Lloyd and Betty (Miller) Moore and has resided in the New Salem community for many years. He was self employed in the Paint & Body Repair field and enjoyed the work and skill he put into every project. In the 1970's, Tommy was a boxer and was even designated with the Golden Glove Award with his league in Chattanooga. Aside from his professional career and hobbies, he was a loving father, son, grandfather and friend to many.
Tommy is survived by his children, Jared Moore and Virginia Mealor, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister, Sue Fairris as well as a host of other extended family and friends. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was also preceded in death by his sister, Myrna Reilly.
In keeping with Tommy's wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
