Thomas Morris Obituary
Thomas H. Morris, Jr., 88, of Johns Creek, GA, died peacefully on December 13, 2025. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for six years. Tom was a bank executive who retired in 1998, after 39 years. If you thought banking was dry and boring you never met Tom. He was passionate about his work. He also loved travel. From trips abroad to closer-to-home road trips he loved it all.
Tom is survived by his wife of 69 years, Etta Morris; his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Nan Morris; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jonathan Edman; two granddaughters, Whitney Gast and her husband, Andrew, and Claire Akins and her partner, Jonathan Kuzy; and two great-grandchildren, Philip and Eleanor Gast.
In lieu of a formal service, the family will celebrate Tom, proudly known as Dad, Grandpa, Papa, G-Pa, and friend, at his favorite restaurant, The Colonnade, in the Spring, and raise a toast and a hurrah for a life well lived.

Tom was a great friend and was a former member of Chamblee First United Methodist Church where he served in several areas with his skills and love for the church.
