Thomas Mullooly Obituary
Dee Dee Mullooly, age 60, of Weston, West Virginia went peacefully home to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 4th, 2026, surrounded by his family after a short illness. Born May 12, 1965 in Weston, West Virginia, Dee Dee was the son of Harriett Kemper Moon of Hurricane, West Virginia and the late Edward Mullooly of Weston, West Virginia.
He was a 1983 graduate at Lewis County High School and received an associate in science in petroleum engineering and technology and a bachelor of science in business administration in 1989 from Glenville State College.
Being a fighting-Irish Mountaineer, Dee Dee was an avid WVU fan and loved the holidays cherished with his family and friends. He constantly kept them entertained with his infectious one-of-a-kind laugh, stories of his childhood and youth, and at any given time, entertaining us all singing songs from all genres, especially rock n roll. Dee Dee never met a stranger and he never let anyone walk away needing something that he could help provide. Dee Dee will be missed so very much by his children Megan and Matthew and his many friends and his family.
Dee Dee is survived by his daughter, Megan Joette Mullooly of Charleston, West Virginia, his son, Matthew Thomas Mullooly of Scott Depot, West Virginia, his sister, Lisa Joette Chambers (Ezra) of Hurricane, West Virginia, granddaughters, Mya Aubree Chambers of Hurricane, West Virginia and Audrey Mae Carder of Charleston, West Virginia and his nephew, Daniel Joseph Brison (Lauren) of Fort Campbell, KY.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother and grandfather, Mildred Kemper and George Meade Kemper of Weston, West Virginia and Margaret Mullooly and Joseph Mullooly of Weston, West Virginia.
Visitation and Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Weston, West Virginia, Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at 10:00 am with Mass beginning at 11:00 am with Rev. Father Douglas A. Ondeck as celebrant.
Burial will be at Loveberry, West Virginia at St. Bernard's Church Cemetery.
Hardman Family Funeral Home of Weston, WV considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the family of Thomas E. "Dee Dee" Mullooly, II.

Though I didn´t know him I feel a close connection. Growing up and being close friends with his father Ed, uncle Joe and aunt Sara. I spent many hours on his grandparents farm on Crooked Fork roaming the farm, climbing up into the barn and riding in the jeep with Sara as she drove around the area at the tender age of 12 and 13. I even believe I met him once recently at the auto store in Weston as he came up to introduce himself and knew of my friendship with his dad. It is with sadness that I didn´t know him better. My heartfelt sympathy to his children and grandchildren.

RIP Dee Mullooly! I had an Advanced Swimming Class with Dee at Glenville State College one semester.. He was a good swimmer and did have a great personality with humor! I can still see & hear his laugh .. Condolences to his family & friends.....
