I had the great privilege of working with Dr Murray at Surgical Hospital many years. He was a mentor to the all the residents who worked with him. Had a great sense of humor. My favorite story he would tell was about "sprinkles" in his bed after grandkids visited. When I left SHO he came to me and said the kindest words to me regarding helping train the residents. He cared deeply for his patients and was an employee advocate. This is a huge loss to all who knew him. Blessings to his family. He was so loved by many

Dr. Murray was just about the finest person I´ve ever met. He touched my life in so many ways.
For 10 years we worked together every Wednesday and Friday. He gave me grief every time in his hilarious fashion. He told Italian jokes and I told Irish jokes. His humor was unsurpassed. There were always "Murrayisms " floating around the OR.
He was also so kind and always supportive. He will be sorely missed and NEVER forgotten.
I feel blessed to be able to say
I KNEW AND ADMIRED DR MURRAY.
