Thomas Murray Obituary

Born on October 18, 1955, in East Liverpool, he was the proud son of the late Frederick and Ellen Marie Clutter Murray.
Tom was preceded in death by first wife, Judy; his sister, Vaunie K. Brown.
A distinguished graduate of Oak Glen High School, Class of 1974, Tom spent his career making significant contributions, first at Crucible Steel until its closure and then as a conductor for Watco Train Lines. He was a diligent worker and a member of the United Steel Workers Union. Beyond his professional achievements, Tom was a dedicated farmer who thrived in the great outdoors and had a passion for muscle cars. His bond with his dog was also a cherished part of his life.
Tom will be profoundly missed by his loving wife, Darlyn Ring Murray; daughter, Kristina M. Murray Fields (Randy); granddaughter, Melissa Fields; step-son; 4 step-grandsons; and brother, Timothy J. Murray (Marty Jean), along with his nieces and nephews; 2 great-nephews; 3 great-nieces who will carry his memory forward.
A celebration of Tom's life will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the Arner Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The family would like to give a special thank to his sister in-law, Betsy Davis for being his caregiver.
