Thomas Nastoff Obituary

Thomas Nastoff, age 92, of Lakes of the Four Seasons, Crown Point, IN, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, with his nephew and his wife, Pete and Susie Nastevski and his dear friends, Robert and Gabriella Bianco by his side. Thomas was born in Gary, Indiana on March 1, 1933. He studied Theology at Valparaiso University. Thomas proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was a very successful businessman. Thomas was larger than life and never met a stranger. He married the love of his life, Joanne (nee Fesko) Nastoff who preceded him in death in May of 2025. Thomas and Joanne were married for nearly 50 years. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Lazo Nastoff and Metra Jacobi.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. directly at Sts. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 9660 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, 2305 W. 73rd Avenue, Merrillville, IN. Rev. Georgij Gligorov officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral. Burns Funeral Home & Crematory, Crown Point, IN, entrusted with arrangements. www.burnsfuneral.com

I was an associate of Tom in 1972. He was very kind and a true gentleman. I remember his Mercedes Benz convertible he loved. I got to ride in it a few times. Tom was someone I always looked up too. God has blessed him over the years. He was and still is a good man....

I knew Tom thru his brother- in law, Fred Fesko. Tom was always a true gentleman whenever we met. I was always amazed at how he would continue to exercise into his later years. My memory of him will always be as a kind and thoughtful man. May he rest in peace.
