Thomas Alan Ogreen

Ogreen, Thomas (Tom) Alan Grand Rapids Tom Ogreen, age 62, passed away on March 5, 2022, in our Ocala, Florida family home. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan at Hackley Hospital on March 6, 1959, to Victor and Wanda (Newhoff) Ogreen. He married Kari Lynn Huggler on a beautiful Michigan September day in 1992 with a reception for many friends at their farm and home in Ada Michigan. Tom graduated from Forest Hills High in Ada, Michigan. He retired in 2014 after working for more than 30 years at American Seating as an industrial painter. For many of those years, he was a union steward. Tom loved animals. His best friends were three German shepherds; Cyrus, Alex, and Cabo. Some of Tom's happiest times included the many Cabo, Mexico trips he shared with his wife and friends as well as great memories of trips to Silver Lake with his best friends Scott, Gayl, Patrick and Julie. Tom loved spending time with his family, younger sister Cheryl and older brother John and his wonderful parents, and very special Aunt Carol (his mother's older sister). He enjoyed nature, the outdoors, bonfires, creating artwork, golf league, live music, photography, football, and driving with the top down in his beloved Mustang convertible. A loyal husband, son, nephew, cousin, and friend, Tom was always there for family and friends. A man of few words, he meant what he said, and always honored his word. He will be missed every day by all who knew him until we meet again. Tom leaves behind his; Sister, Cheryl Martinez; brother, John Ogren; Mother, Wanda Ogreen; Sister-in-law, Judith Ogren; and former wife Kari, brother-in-law Steven Huggler and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. SERVICE A combined memorial service celebrating the lives of both Tom and his Aunt Carol Hall will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, At 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with visitation one hour prior to the service.
