Thomas Michael Padden, age 64, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on October 5, 2025. He was born on March 27, 1961, in Ferndale, Michigan, to the late Robert Alfred Padden and Catherine Merle Warfield Padden. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Diana Lowers.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Padden, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his beloved daughter, Summer Peterson, of Flowery Branch, Georgia; and his precious grandchildren, Iris and Atlas Peterson, who were truly the light of his life. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Larry and Maxine Padden of Hendersonville, North Carolina; Jeff and Cheri Padden of Las Vegas, Nevada; Jim Padden of Mesa, Arizona; Tim and Sharon Padden of Braselton, Georgia; and Sharon Padden Russum of Buford, Georgia. Tom was also dearly loved by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him greatly.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a dedicated entrepreneur, a man of faith who served at 12Stone Church, and a friend to many. He was known for his big sense of humor, infectious laugh, and love of singing-especially Elvis Presley songs. Whether it was through a song, a joke, or simply being there for someone, Tom had a way of making everyone feel special.
Above all else, Tom's greatest joy in life was his family. His daughter, Summer, whom he affectionately called "Pie Pie," was his pride and joy. He loved being called "Dude" by his granddaughter Iris, who he nicknamed "Dudee" so they could share a matching name. His grandchildren, Iris and Atlas, were his world and brought him endless happiness.
Tom will be remembered for his laughter, his music, his faith, and his unconditional love for his family and friends. He truly was the life of the party, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
