Thomas Palmieri, 91, of Township of Washington, formerly of Paramus, NJ, passed away on February 28, 2025. Born in North Bergen to Vita Maria and Thomas Palmieri. Tom was the beloved husband of Carol Rose Hepsen Palmieri (nee Odjakjian). Dear brother to Carol Ann Reyman and the late Teresa Reynolds, Vita Alicchio and Anthony Palmieri. From his previous marriage to Marion, devoted father of Donna Palmieri, Robert Palmieri, David Palmieri, Elaine Naugler (David). Also, devoted father of Kristen Hepsen, Erik Hepsen (Jenna). Loving grandfather of Nicole Terado (Gee), Renee Mason (Preston), Conrad Naugler (Monica), Kelsie Naugler, Spencer Naugler, Michael Palmieri, Lucy Hepsen and Tessa Hepsen. Great grandfather of Cecilia and Atlas.
Thomas was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring, he was a Director of Mechanical Engineering with Siemens in Randolph, NJ. He and his family are very proud of his many achievements and patents in the medical diagnostic field.
Tom enjoyed his hobby of building and flying model airplanes. He was a member of the Rockland County Radio Control Club and the Lions Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends, as well as traveling.
Tom will be remembered for his sense of humor and sadly missed by all.
Funeral Service and entombment on Saturday, March 8th at 11:30 AM at Garden of Memories, Building 7, Township of Washington. Visitation Friday, March 7th from 5 - 7 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights.
Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org or to the American Cancer Society www.donate.cancer.org would be appreciated.
