Arnold Joseph Palmieri (01/23/45-11/05/2024) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Arnie worked for 35 years at SNET and later at AT&T. During his retirement, he worked at the NBHS cafeteria. He loved serving the students who lovingly called him the "Sandwich Man."
Arnie is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years Joanne (McNamara) Palmieri, his son Anthony V. Palmieri, daughter-in-law Dana Palmieri, his daughter Maria Berte and son-in-law Kevin Berte. His beloved granddaughters Julia Palmieri and Lucy Berte. He is also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kathy and Ted Liou, James and Maria McNamara, and Eric and Jane Delore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Friday, November 8 from 4-7pm at the Keenan Funeral Home in North Branford. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 10am at the North Branford Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
