Thomas Parkinson Obituary

Born February 4, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas Christopher and Arlene L. (Thummel) Parkinson.
Tom served his country as a mechanic in the United States Air Force. He spent nearly 45 years as a horse trader, trading horses all over the east coast. Tom was a beloved member of the horse community.
He is survived by his adopted daughter, Destiny "Nikki" Capan and companion, Tyler Resh; one brother, James A. Parkinson; one sister, Terri Kelker; one sister-in-law, Jan Parkinson; a grandson, Kaiden Resh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald W. Parkinson and a sister-in-law, Mary E. Parkinson.
In accordance with his wishes, he donated his body to the WVU Science Human Gift Registry. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV is honored to be assisting his family.
