Thomas J. "Gramps" Passarelli Jr.

Thomas James "Gramps" Passarelli, Jr., of Parks Township, cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Born August 1, 1950 to the late Amelia (Petrarca) Passarelli and Thomas James Passarelli, Sr., Tom was firmly grounded in faith and hard work.
He was a 1968 graduate of Kiski Area High School, and worked as a millwright for ATI at the Bagdad and Vandergrift plants for 40 years.
Tom liked fishing, hunting, gardening, and taking care of his free range chickens.
Tom was a devoted husband of 54 years to the love of his life, Julie (Weaver) Passarelli. Their love was the foundation of a life well-lived, a bond of unwavering support and memories to inspire future generations.
He was the proud father of six children: Anthony Passarelli, Sheri Lake, Thomas A. (Jennifer) Passarelli, Mary (Chris) Scialabba, Anna (Kevin) Mack, and James (Holly Crocker) Passarelli.
Tom is also survived by his brother, Peter (Jeanne) Passarelli.
He will be remembered for the devotion & the love he had for his 12 grandchildren, Emma & Amelia Passarelli-Roberts, Lauren & Joshua Saurer, Louise, Katherine, and Lillian Passarelli, Santino & Nina Scialabba, and Bryton, Abigail, and Jessica Mack.
Tom will be remembered for his love of family. His life was a beautiful example of what truly matters: laughter, love, and loyalty to his loved ones.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Brady-Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 429 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift. Parting prayers of transfer will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, with Father Michael Sciberras as celebrant. Interment in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Vandergrift.
