It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Walter Payne, who left us on October 14, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on November 19, 1970, in Fort Worth, Texas, Thomas spent his life in Arlington, Texas, where he was known not only for his dedication to his work in the automotive field but also for his warm spirit, kindness, and love for those around him.
Thomas was a momma’s boy at heart and shared a deep bond with his mother, Alecia Annette Graves, and his stepfather, Ronald Graves. He is also survived by his father, Curtis Payne, his younger brother, Cole, and his sister, Katie. His fiancé Krissy and son Cooper Tole. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him as a caring and generous soul.
A true enthusiast of cars, Thomas loved high water trucks, lift kits with big tires and wheels, and all things automotive. He was also a homebody who cherished time with his family and friends. Thomas enjoyed gaming, listening to country music, and participating in family traditions, including playing cow pasture golf at the annual family farm gatherings, memories that will forever bring smiles to those who shared them.
Thomas was proceed in death by his beloved grandparents Buck and Effie Gillis and Charles and Hazel Payne.
Thomas’s love, laughter, and spirit will remain in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the joy he brought to every life he touched.
