Im glad this memory showed up today, it was a good feeling to hear how everyone felt and how he took such an interest in everyone in the family. He was a great role model!

If this is the right Peachey I was with him in the USMC. I think we first met in Okinawa in 1969 both of us coming out of Vietnam. We got together again at Camp Lejuene NC, we lived together for a short time. I left Lejune in 72 headed to Gitmo. I didn't see him after that but I always enjoyed his company, wit and humor. From what I read in the rememberinces it sounds like the Peachey I knew. I can be reached at ( [email protected] or 603-926-7708). If I have made a mistake I apologize and wish you well.

Uncle Tom filled a room with his friendly personality and wonderful spirit. I will always remember his kindness. I have wonderful memories of visiting him in NC at a military base. He took us to a battleship, because of his military connections we had access to areas not on the tour. I remember so many wonderful things, especially Lady the saluting dog, amazing Thanksgiving dinners with Mom-Mom Lees, where Uncle Tom loved to eat. He always tasted everything. My heart is with the family. I know the pain of loosing a father too soon. You are in my prayers.

I loved Uncle Tom's smile and his hugs. I will miss them very much. He was an overcomer, and I enjoyed so much being around him. Uncle Tom, I love you and miss you! Say hi to mom for me.

Dear Emily and Family,
We were so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I got to know Tom while a student at Susquehanna and a TKE fraternity brother. I had not seen him for many years but always remembered him for the way he, with his outgoing, bubbly personality, would provide a spark and light up the room whenever he was present. Janice and I will always remember him and feel blessed by knowing him many years ago. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

He hath said I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5
Uncle Tom has Blessed so many lives with his kind personality, always taking an interest in our family, especially in our horses.Last October Uncle Tom traveled to the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg to watch Kaitlin compete in barrel racing and pole bending. He even remembered it was Kaitlins birthday with a card and gift! What an example he was to all of us. I will always remember Uncle Tom with a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again in Heaven someday.

I will always remember Uncle Tom's special way of knowing exactly what was happening in all of our lives. I am not sure of his sources, but somehow he always knew. How special and loved he made us all feel just with those kind words, and loving hugs. Our family gatherings will certainly not be the same without Uncle Tom there, but his memory will always be with us as we continue to get together.

My Uncle Tom was a special person that touched my life in many ways. He was someone that I looked up to and admired. I’ll miss him deeply but will always remember the good times we had and the way he made me laugh with his wit and humor. I remember Tom driving from Virginia to Hershey Arena to watch my son wrestle two years ago. Even with his disability he made his way around the arena to talk to everyone. I know he is in a better place now and look forward to the day that I see him again.

Tom has been a friend of mine since the 5th grade. We were born on the same day and the Peachey family included me to help celebrate our 50th birthday together in VA. I was so appreciative of their kindness and love. Tom was an example of that love to everyone he met. We caught our first fish together, shot our first deer together and what fun we had with our cars (cutting off the roof to make a toboggan). Our families enjoyed listening to us tell the stories of our teenage years together. His testimony to persevere was a great encouragement. I will miss him greatly. He was my closet friend.

Emily & Family:

I was sorry to hear of Tom's death. I hadn't seen Tom in years but thinking of him brought back wonderful memories. He seemed to spread cheer wherever he was, and the messages essentially show that he continued to do that throughout his life. That is a great contribution.

Maggie and I will keep you and your family in our prayers.

God blessed our lives with a wonderful brother. We will forever treasure the precious memories of all our happy times together, especially that last recent visit. Despite his disability Tom retained his sense of humor, his smile, his deep capacity of caring for his family. He was faithful in sharing things that were important to us and we will love him always. Death separates us for a time; Christ will reunite us forever. "Whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." John 11:26

I will always remember Uncle Tom's smile and hugs that always greeted us. Family get togethers will not be the same without you, Uncle Tom! Give my babies hugs for me, teach them how to golf, and enjoy a good laugh with Aunt Brenda! To Aunt Emily, Mike, and Andy: remember you are loved!

Even tho I didn't know Thomas, I know some siblings, Dave, Ellen, John, Teresa and you NAOMI. I just know it helps so much to get thro grief when GOD gives us friends to help us thro it. There is nothing like Jesus and Christian friends who have been thro it. Blessings as enjoy the memories and release your husband, son, brother, father, friend to his heavenly home.

I recently read a quote that warmed my heart:

The temple bell stops-
But the sound keeps coming
Out of the flowers.”

I think this is a beautiful description for my Uncle Tom. May the gentleness, kindness, and humility that I learned from him keep coming from each of us – the flowers he so faithfully cared for.

as the saying goes our family chain is broken, one link at a time and one day our chain will be together again. Words cannot express what I am feeling right now. I love my brother and he will forever be in my heart

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. I am thankful for the promise of being reunited again someday. Thomas is the second of my ten children. I had a wonderful visit with Thomas and Emily at the 2006 Peachey Christmas Dinner. Before they left for Virginia on Sunday morning they made a special visit to my home which meant a lot to me. Thomas seemed so happy. We had a really nice visit, not knowing it would be our last on this earth. They were both good at encouraging me with floweres, gifts and visits.

In the sweet by and by, we will meet on that beautiful shore. Knowing this takes some of the sting out of death, although we still grieve deeply. Thomas has 6 sisters and he was kind to all of us. He blessed us with a wonderful sister-in-law too. Emily, may you find strength from our Lord Jesus Christ who sees every tear you shed.

Emily you and your family are in my prayers. I always looked forward to seeing you folks. Thomas doesn't have to buy home made bread now. He has fresh manna in heaven.

What a special person Thomas was. Dale remembers Thomas always being interested in him and his life when he was young, and how it touched our hearts to see him doing the same with our children. He remembered their names and even tried to rescue Autumn from the terrible Elmo at the last Peachey get-together! Thomas truly made us feel loved and appreciated. Our condolences and love to you, Emily, and family.

Tom was my closest uncle. I have so many wonderful memories of him especially at the Peachey family get togethers. He truly is one of the greatest men I've ever known. I'll never forget how he made us laugh. I cherish every memory I have of him. The look of surprise and excitement on his face when we surprised him for his 50th birthday. Playing volleyball with the cousins at a get together, camping out at the cabin and at Rocky Gap, and visiting at my parents' house. We will all laugh again together someday, when we meet in Heaven. Then, we'll be able to visit with each other forever. Emily, you and the boys and grandkids are constantly on our minds and in our prayers. Please never forget that. Love you!

Tom and I were great friends at Susquehanna. We were fraternity brothers and shared many moments as sons of The West Branch Valley. Often, Tom and Emily would spend New Year's Eve with my wife and me; accompanied by Jim Reaser, Tom Milbrand, Bob King and their wives. This is a very sad time, but I know that his upbeat outlook will be carried on by his sons. I know that I will await our reunion on the other side. Don King
