Thomas James Pinghera

Mr. Thomas J. Pinghera, age 76, of Newark, Delaware passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Maspeth Queens, New York City' a son of Conchetta Laurita and John Pinghera; he was a graduate of Boy's High School, Brooklyn New York. Thomas was a member of Holy Family Parish in Newark, Delaware.
Prior to retirement, Thomas had been employed by Comcast and had worked through several of the different divisions to become a Systems Testing Analyst.
Thomas enjoyed watching television, especially the classic shows of Perry Mason, the Three Stooges WWE Wrestling and Svengoolie. He was an avid New York Jets Football fan and enjoyed the cuisine of different restaurants. Thomas loved the companionship of his dogs, his late Huskie Jake and then recently his Chihuahua, Scooby. He enjoyed time spent with his family.
In addition to his late parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Angelo "Dee" J. Pinghera who passed away in 2017.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 47 years of marriage, Adele C. Volpe Pinghera; his two sons, Lewis T. and Gregory J. Pinghera; his granddaughter, Gianna R Pinghera; his nieces, nephews and his three cousins,
Services have been entrusted into the care of Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, Delaware followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Father Okorie. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
