Thomas George Pollak

Thomas G. "Tom" Pollak, age 86, of Naples, Florida passed away on September 12, 2025 . Thomas was born in McKeesport, PA and is preceeded in death by his parents, Rudolph A. and Rose Wargo Pollak of McKeesport, PA.

Tom is surrived by his loving wife Patricia (Schiffman) Pollak (Just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary), son Tye (Cristal) Pollak of Louisville, KY, brother Rudy (Sandy) Pollak of Laguna Niguel, CA., sister Raina (Tony) Sivillo of Petaluma, CA., and grandsons Jacob, Sean and Caleb.

He graduated from McKeesport High School in 1957 and received a Congressional appointment to the United States Naval Academy - graduating and receiving a commission as an Ensign with the Class of 1961. Tom served for 7 years in various surface assignments and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant in 1968.

Tom's civillian career was with the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) in the areas of engineering, construction, construction contracting and purchasing at locations in Cleveland, OH.; Newburgh, IN.; Lafayette, IN.; Palestine, TX.; Pittsburgh, PA. and Lebanon, PA.

Upon retirement from ALCOA in 1997, Tom and Pat moved to Marco Island, Florida where they lived for 13 years. In 2010 they moved to Naples, Florida. He was very active at Wesley United Methodist Church on Marco Island and Habitat for Humanity of Collier County where he was a long time volunteer and a member of the Board of Directors.
