Thomas Preston Obituary
Thomas Mikhail-Alexander Preston, 34, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, September 18, 2025. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids assisted the family.
Thomas was born on September 12, 1991, in Corinth, Mississippi, to Karen (Noel) and Richard Wilson, Sr. She graduated from Crockett County High School in Tennessee in 2009 and later earned an associate degree from West Tennessee Business College. Thomas worked at the Eastern Iowa Airport for UPS. She cherished time with her family, especially her boys and her cats: Poot, Remus, and Chloe. Thomas also enjoyed drawing and playing video games, with Minecraft and Fallout 76 among her favorites. Above all, she was known for her kindness and willingness to help others.
Survivors include her significant other, Anthony Timmerman; siblings, Ricky Wilson, Jr. and Tiffane Wilson; children, Noah Timmerman, Odin Timmerman, and Geralt Timmerman; niece, Alice Campbell; and her fur-baby, Poot.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Wilson; and her maternal grandparents, Harold and Virginia Noel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Anthony Timmerman c/o Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 520 Wilson Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404.
