Thomas Piotrowski Obituary

Putts, age 72, of North Mankato, MN, originally of Little Falls, died Sunday, October 12, 2025.

Memorial Service 11:00 a.m., October 30, 2025, Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation one hour before service. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Thomas was born July 17, 1953, to Sylvester and Angeline (Szyperski) Piotrowski in Little Falls, MN. Putts served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1971-75, serving on the U.S.S. John McCain in Vietnam.

Putts met Linda Schuette on the July 4th weekend in 1976 and they married on March 4, 1978.

Putts worked for Kato Engineering for 22 years as a machinist and then Mankato State University for 18 years in maintenance.

Putts loved time at his lake cabin fishing and reading.

Putts is survived by wife, Linda; two children, Jesse (Ann) and Katie; grandson, Zachary Volk; and his sister, Dorothy (Ron) Nachtigall.

Putts was preceded in death by his parents.
