Thomas Radle Obituary
He was born in Evanston, Illinois, on April 15, 1947. After earning a degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, Tom built a career as a consultant in airport design and construction. His work not only took him around the world, but also led him to live in nine different states and Canada.
Tom was a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, and a joyful presence in the lives of those who knew him. He enjoyed traveling with his family, especially visiting national parks and capturing those moments through his photography. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Stanton Radle and Marjorie Jane (Miller) Radle; his brother, Patrick; and his sister, Susan.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Holtz) Radle; his sons, Mike and Tim (Loy); his grandsons, Logan and Kieran; his brothers, Bill and Jim (Sandi); his sisters, Peggy Wattenbach and Mary Sas; and his sister-in-law Roxanne Frizzell.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Fairview, NC, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Elizabeth Rawlings will officiate. A light lunch will follow the service.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
