Thomas Michael Rafalski Jr., US Navy Veteran of Woodstock, Illinois, beloved retail manager and cherished member of his community, passed away on August 18, 2024 at the age of 62. Born on September 26, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, Thomas lived a life rich in joy, love, and dedication to those around him. He grew up in Arlington Heights, where he attended Rolling Meadows High School. Following graduation, Thomas enlisted in the US Navy and honorably served our country.
Thomas was passionate about various interests that brought him joy and a sense of fulfillment. He had a deep love for hard rock music, often found listening to his favorite bands. His love for history and reading filled his life with knowledge and insight, while cooking was both a passion and a way to connect with family and friends. He also enjoyed the thrilling narratives found in gangster movies.
He is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Rafalski, and his brother, James Rafalski (Jennifer). Their bond and shared memories will forever keep Thomas’ spirit alive in their hearts. He also joins his late father, Thomas Rafalski, in remembrance, as they reunite once more.
Thomas Michael Rafalski Jr. will be missed deeply by all who knew him. His legacy of warmth, humor, and care will continue to inspire and comfort those left behind.
A Full military funeral honors service will be held at Abraham Lincoln national Cemetery
