In Loving Memory of Thomas Charles Repino 07/21/1942 - 12/06/2025
Thomas(Tom) Charles Repino, age 83, passed from this life on December 6th, 2025. He was lovingly surrounded by his family during his final days until he was called to his heavenly home. Tom was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born July 21, 1942, to Genevieve and Thomas Repino, he was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Adelaida Repino. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Brigitte Repino; his son, Thom Repino and wife Kris; his three grandchildren, Jacob, Mark, and Jenna Repino; his sister, Genevieve Repino and nephew Niccolo (Nick) Repino – Rossini; all of whom he loved beyond measure.
Tom proudly served in the United States Army Infantry right out of high school for 30 years. He spent several years in Germany where he met and fell in love with Brigitte and was married soon after. He was a decorated war veteran (Purple Heart, Bronze Star) serving in Vietnam as an Infantry adviser and LLRP (long range reconnaissance patrol) leader. After returning home, he transitioned into the US Army medical command. During his final service years, he also worked off hours in local hospitals and after military retirement began a career as a hospital laboratory technician. He worked his way up in the industry ending his working career as an executive officer at the Connally Memorial Medical Center of which he was proud of commissioning their new hospital in 2005. During his retirement until his passing, he served as an Alderman for Sandy Oaks Texas in southwest Bexar County, finalizing his many years of service to his country and community.
Tom was a man of quiet strength and enormous generosity; he devoted much of his life caring for and supporting his wife and family. He was also known for his playful humor, warm heart, and endless kindness, Tom leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on through the memories and stories shared by those he touched. Our family extends its deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers during this time of sorrow.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM with some short statements from the family prior to closing, Location: Funeral Caring USA 2621 Mossrock San Antonio, Tx 78230 Burial will occur on a later date at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery
