Kincannon Funeral HomeThomas Ray “Tom” Roberts, 79, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at his home in Blair, Oklahoma. Tom was born on November 11, 1946, in Madill, Oklahoma as the youngest of 6 children of Earl and Vivian ”Jack” (Bales) Roberts. He was the first one in the family born in a hospital. As a young child, Tom moved with his family to Gould, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Gould High School with the class of 1965. He later married Dee Ann Pitts on December 26, 1974, and together they had one child, Jeffrey Thomas “Jeff” Roberts.
Tom was eccentric and full of life-never meeting a stranger anywhere he went. He was an avid antique collector picking up treasures everywhere he went. He loved to visit with old and new friends, joyfully sharing his faith and love for Christ with everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Billy Jack Roberts. Tom’s memory will forever be cherished by those he leaves behind: his wife of 51 years, Dee Ann; his son, Jeff Roberts and wife, Gina and granddaughter, Harper of Ardmore, Oklahoma; his sister, Betty Wood and husband, Paul of Ola, Arkansas; his brother, Bo Roberts and wife, Linda of Argyle, Texas; his brother, Dave Roberts and wife, Silvia of Mangum, Oklahoma; his brother, Hame Roberts and wife, Betty of Gruver, Texas. He is also survived by many other extended family members, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers donations in his honor may be made to the Blair First Baptist Youth Ministries at P.O. Box 7, Blair, OK 73526 or the Altus Animal Welfare Association at 2204 Enterprise Drive, Altus, OK 73521.
The family will greet friends at the Blair First Baptist Church from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 AM on April 2nd at Blair Cemetery. The family welcomes friends to attend a luncheon at the church following inurnment services.
