Thomas "Phil" Robinson, born on April 20, 1956, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024. Phil dedicated 20 professional years of his life to Union Pacific Railroad, where he exemplified the skills of a talented machinist. His ability to fix and work on almost anything was a point of pride and a testament to his resourcefulness and dedication to his craft.
Phil was not only a devoted professional but also a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He cherished the time spent with his family and was known for entertaining them with cookouts and fish fries, creating memories that will be fondly remembered. Phil had a vibrant personality, and his love for life was evident in his various hobbies and interests. He lived on the lake and could often be found fishing for crappie at his treasured "honey hole," or enjoying the peacefulness of the deer woods.
He is survived by his beloved son, Kane Robinson (Jamie); his daughters, Kambrie Abels (Ryan) and Kenzie Dane; and his cherished grandchildren, Kinley Carter, Cash Robinson, Brady Abels, Ava Abels, Karly Hawley, and True Robinson. Phil's memory will also be honored by his mother, Dapthene Robinson; his brother, Paul Robinson (Debbie); his sister, Liz Garner; his uncle and special friend, Fay Robinson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John Robinson.
Phil was a member of Calvary Church of Nazarene, and his legacy of love, friendship, and unwavering support will continue to inspire those who knew him.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and give special thanks to Hospice Home Care and Pleasant Hills Care Home for all of their help with and care for Phil.
