Tom served God and his family was his life. Tom was a proud Marine Corps veteran and a career Georgia State trooper. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for sailing. He was a man of integrity who valued character far above pedigree. He had a gift of encouraging others and looking for the good in people, and more often than not, he found it.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Gwen, sons Greg (Lisa) and Russ (Tami) and grandchildren Lauren, Connor, Matthew and Dylan. Two great grandchildren, August and Elizabeth Lazo. Special niece Sherri and her husband Keith Josey. Two fine nephews, Daniel Josey and Johnny Hill.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday May 16th at 12:00 at Isle of Hope Baptist Church Savannah
