Thomas H. Seehorn, age 86, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, following a period of declining health.

After graduating from Cocke County High School in 1956 and East Tennessee State University in 1960, Tommy served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962. He retired in 1999 after 37 years as an account manager with Procter & Gamble where he worked primarily in East Tennessee, southeastern Kentucky and southwestern Virginia. He enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his family, making improvements on the family farm, and working with his beef cattle. Tommy and his family extend their deep appreciation to Bill Ford, Charlie Seehorn, Gary Price, Mark Hill and Wayne Ford for helping him on the farm for many, many years.

Tommy will be fondly remembered as a person who did what he said he would do and who was honest and above-board in his dealings with all people. Tommy's word was his bond, and his work ethic was legendary. He was incredibly proud and supportive of his family and deeply appreciative of the life and opportunities that he was given. Tommy often told his family that his blessings far exceeded what he expected or deserved. He will be missed dearly by his family and all who had the good fortune of knowing him.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, John Rhea Seehorn, Jr. and Maxie Williams Seehorn, sister, Charlotte Rhea Seehorn Stahl, and brothers, John William Seehorn and James Maxwell Seehorn. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Patricia Ledford Seehorn, children, Ellen Ratcliff and husband Keith Ratcliff of Sevierville, and John Seehorn and wife Melissa Seehorn of Franklin. Additionally, Tommy leaves behind four special granddaughters, Rebecca Ratcliff of Denver, Colorado, Katherine Clabo and husband Nick Clabo of Morristown, Ellie Seehorn of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Caroline Seehorn of Franklin, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

After a private burial at Union Cemetery, the family will receive friends at Manes Funeral Home from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 31, 2025, followed immediately by a memorial service at 6:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Charles Boggan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to organizations that help underprivileged children, a group that was always special to Tommy. He enjoyed supporting the 4-H Club of Cocke County, the Isaiah 117 House in Newport, and Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center of the Smokies in Sevierville.
