My dear Thomas.."Araxis"..words cannot express how much I will always treasure our memories together. From our years in The Ramtha School in Washington..to our starting over in California..You with Charlie..me with Oliver my cat and later with my beloved Dog. Road Trips..Dinners..furnishing my house. And then watching you and Charles build your astounding Business Hedge! I will always miss that "Oh Darling".."Dancing Girl"..and that laugh of yours..Wherever you are it most certainly is enriched by that irreplaceable Spirit of yours.

Thomas and I met in Yelm WA back in the late `80´s. At that time he was Shirley MacLean`s personal assistant and in the early 90s we both worked on a movie in Washington state. From there we became really good friends. I´m sad to say that since he moved away from Washington down to Cathedral city are connection was very few and in between. But I was happy to say that this past July I had sent him a happy birthday and heard back from him as well. I will really cherish that last text I received from him. I was also wondering is there going to be a memorial for Thomas?

Tom was a wonderful man who was kind
and generous. I knew him and his partner Charles primarily from Hedge. For over 15 years I acquired art, furniture and lighting from their legendary shop which has anchored the Perez Design Area for many years.
I can´t imagine going there without seeing him. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Charles.

Thomas's sister Kathleen and partner Toni have shared, so lovingly, many stories over the years of Thomas & Charles life at Hedge, your travels, creativity of design, the beauty of YOU given to so many people. You are both adored. Wish I could have met you but am so grateful for this glimpse of you from someone who loved you both very much.
To Charles - wishing you peace and strength. Angela Rose (afriend4vr1)

Charles, my deepest sympathy. Thomas was a complex, interesting and intelligent man, with a keen, natural talent for design. A solid midcentury sensibility effortlessly blending with the eclectic. He dedicated himself to creating a better, more aesthetically pleasing world one select, choice piece of `cool´ at a time. I don´t know what´s out there, but wherever Thomas may be, I suspect he´ll create a place with indelible style and sunrise beauty
