Thomas Shoup Obituary
He was born October 4, 1939 in Springfield, the son of William and Elizabeth "Betty" Williamson Shoup. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Melinda Gail and Gail Ann; and one brother, Robert Shoup.
Thomas married Judith Moore in September of 1965.
Thomas worked for the Department of Transportation for the State of Illinois retiring in 1999.
Surviving are his wife, Judy; one daughter, Mary Beth (Larry) Myrick; two sons, John (Melissa) Shoup and Rob Shoup; three grandchildren, Alex (Haley) Myrick, Kasey (Kevin) Prior and Jonathon (Jenny) Shoup; five great-grandchildren; four siblings, Judy White, Mary White, Dorothy Ketchum and Steve Shoup; several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held.

Just saw Tom's Obit and we're Very Sorry for your loss. We knew Tom & Judy when we lived in Virden over 35 years ago. Tom just came to my mind last week...Strange how things work...Maybe God was trying to tell me to pray for him and his family.? We extend our Sincere Sympathies to all the family at this time.
