Thomas Guy Simpson passed away peacefully on Friday April, 18th 2025 at his home in Brooksville, Florida. Tom was born in Jackson, Michigan on December 6, 1945 He was the oldest son of Charles and Rose (Macchia) Simpson. He attended St. Mary's Catholic school for twelve years, graduating in 1964. He attended Jackson Jr. College and graduated from Western Michigan University in 1968, with a major in accounting. He married Estrella Ines Abella on June 29,1968 and together they raised three sons. She died on February 14, 2012. He married Karen MacDonald on December 28, 2013. Tom was a communicant of St. Gertrude the Great Church in West Chester, Ohio from 1988 to 2016, where he assisted at many Masses and ceremonies and trained future altar servers. He and Karen moved to Brooksville, Florida in 2016 and attended Queen of All Saints Church. Tom is survived by his wife Karen of Brooksville, Florida, sons Charles (Beverly) of Mason, Ohio, Steve (Sheri) of Liberty Township, Ohio and Christian (Heather) of Chandler, AZ. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, three nephews and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Robert.
