Thomas Earl Skinner, age 69 of "Mullica Hill" South Harrison Twp., NJ passed away at home on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Born in Woodbury, NJ to the late Russell Harvey Skinner Jr. and Rebecca (nee Duffield), he graduated from Kingsway High School Class of 1972. Tom worked for E.S.S. Security and was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church in Clarksboro. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing softball, participating in church activities, reading about the Civil War, taking walks, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies & Eagles Fan. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Skinner (nee Schaub), his son Andrew Skinner & his wife Amanda of "Sewell" Mantua Twp., two grandchildren Delaney & Daxton Skinner, his brother William Skinner & his wife Bette Ann, his sister Diane Steward, his in-laws George Jr. and Florence Schaub, brother-in-law George Schaub III & his wife Heidi, his sister-in-law June Sheppard & her husband Allen, and many nieces & nephews. Tom was predeceased by his brother John Skinner.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9 am to 11 am on Friday, September 15th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow in Lake Park Cemetery in Swedesboro, NJ. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to Evangelical U.M. Church, 14 W. Cohawkin Road, Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
