So Sad he was young! Tommy and I were roomates in Santa Barbara. I saw his dad years later and he said Tom was doing Social work in Australia. I tried but could not find him, then I saw this and he only lived 5 hour away! Just Terrible! If his son Phoenix ever wants to chat I have some great stories even at his grandparents home. So sad for your loss

Thomas worked for me as a Fry Chef at the Sunnyside Pub and Eatery (now closed) up in Arcata, CA. He was so much fun to be around. I really enjoyed his company. We needed a fry chef and I went through our resumes. When I saw the name we called him in hoping that he was connected to Tommy Smothers. What a shock it was to see and hear how much he looked and sounded like his dad. I am really sad to see that they both have moved on.

I went to High School with Tommy. We worked on the school newspaper. He was alot of fun. Good memories.
