Thomas Solano Obituary
Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Edward and Ann (nee Early) Solano, Thomas moved with his family to Kings Park in 1988 and built a life based on unconditional love, faith, and compassion. He touched countless lives with his smile, laughter, stories, his sense of humor, and his ever-kind and understanding nature.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, cherished sisters Carol and Joan, and his devoted children Michael (Allison), Kathleen (Shaun), and James (Kara). In addition, he is survived by his six grandchildren, who he adored with all his heart: Thomas, Catherine, Patrick, Joseph, Megan, and Ryan. We miss you and love you, "Pa."

Tom was one of the best credit analysts at TIAA! I enjoyed working with him. He could get to the heart of an issue in a nanosecond. When Tom was on a deal, everyone could feel good that it was safe and sound. Tom also had a great sense of humor and ability to put things in perspective. Tom was a friend to all.

Tom was one of the kindest, funniest, and smartest people I had the honor of working with at TIAA. My pet name for him before he became Tommy Credit was Eeyore. He was always there when you needed him with sage advice laced with plenty of humor.
You will be missed Tom.
