Robert M. Carreau

Robert Michael Carreau, 54, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on January 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on June 5, 1971, in Far Rockaway, New York, Robert's life was a testament to the strength of family, the importance of faith, and the enduring power of kindness.

Growing up in Kings Park, New York, Robert was known for his intelligence and gentle spirit. Robert graduated from Kings Park High School in 1989, and earned a bachelor's degree in finance at Baruch College. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a successful career. Known for his humility and kindness, Robert was the kind of person who got along with everyone. His time with the KP Crew was especially cherished, as they shared countless moments of friendship and laughter.

Robert was a devoted husband to his loving wife of 18 years, Michele Carreau, and a treasured father to his children, Becca 'Boo' and Matthew 'Mattie'; his parents Armand and Ruth Carreau; his sister, Cheryl Carreau; and a wide circle of relatives and dear friends. Robert's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

A dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church, Robert's faith was a guiding light throughout his life. He served as the church's treasurer for a time, contributing to the community that nurtured his spiritual growth. His love for the Lord was evident in his every action and interaction.

Robert's interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. He had a lifelong love of sports and was naturally athletic, enjoying everything from playing and staying active himself to sharing his enthusiasm with others. His athleticism shone through in the sports activities he shared with his children, creating memories that they will hold dear forever.

Robert's legacy is one of a kind, faith-filled, and caring man who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he met.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church, 1704 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. A celebration of Robert's life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. A luncheon will be held at the church from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. We appreciate everyone's love and support and thank you for understanding that the burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Gibbsboro, New Jersey, will be a private gathering for immediate family and close friends.
