Nancy L. Pendolino, 103, of Morganville, N.J., formerly of Tamarac, Fla., passed away on Friday, September 5th , 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and graduated from Kings Park High School in Long Island. She began her career as a beautician then manicurist, working primarily at Grande Hair Salon. Later, she pursued additional training at the Robert Fiance School of Beauty and began designing hairstyles for wigs in Gramercy Park.
Nancy and her family lived in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, before she and her beloved husband, John, relocated to Tamarac, Florida, in 1984.
She took great pride in her appearance, always looking polished and put together. Nancy loved cooking, especially homemade pasta. She and John were well-traveled and adventurous, visiting destinations across Europe, Asia, and South America. Even into their early 90's, they continued to explore the world, most recently admiring glaciers in Alaska together.
Nancy was lovable, kind, and deeply devoted to her family. She cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. A proud member of the Greatest Generation, she lived a long and fulfilling life, and she will be dearly missed.
She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, John Pendolino; her parents, Guiseppe Bartolotta and Giovanna Bartolotta (nee Tedesco); and her siblings, Carmela Licciardo and Thomas
She is survived by her daughters, Jo-Ann Raimondo and her husband Ronnie, and Deborah Beserany; her sister, Theresa Cincotta; her grandchildren, Jennifer Vafa and her husband Daryoush, Kristen Raimondo and her husband Samuel, and Jade Beserany; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Luke, Isla, Arianna, and Theo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9 from 4pm – 8pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial will be offeredWednesday, September 10 at 10:30am at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, 172 Freneau Avenue, Matawan. Entombment will be private.
