Simon Levy Obituary
Simon was the heart of his family and the backbone of Levy Construction, a third-generation, family-owned general contracting business. He took immense pride in carrying on the Levy name and believed deeply that doing things the right way mattered-whether that meant standing by his word, treating everyone with respect, or leading with integrity. To Simon, the men who worked alongside him were family. He was especially proud to mentor his son Josh, who will carry the business forward into its fourth generation.
Above all else, Simon was a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dever; his children Josh (and wife Jen), Sarah, and Hannah (and husband Jason); and his five cherished grandchildren: Sidney (5), Makenna (4), Cooper (3), Monroe (2), and Cameron (1). He is also survived by his brother Seth and sister-in-law Claudia.
Simon had a rare gift for bringing people together. Whether among family, friends, or coworkers, he made everyone feel welcome. He will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, infectious laugh, and the warmth he brought into every room.
Strathmere held a special place in Simon's heart, and his family will continue his tradition of gathering there-surrounded by laughter, love, and the people who mattered most to him.
Simon's legacy lives on in the family he built, the business he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched through kindness, loyalty, and love.
Relatives and friends are invited Monday, February 9th beginning 12:15 pm to Platt Memorial Chapels, Inc. 2001 Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 1:00 pm. RYEBREAD Architects has worked with the Levy family for decades; we're now on the third generation. Simon was decent, hard-working, insightful, and fun: everything you'd want in a Builder, and a human. We will miss him dearly. Our condolences to his family.

Simon did several carpentry projects for us over the years. Always the absolute professional. In addition there were several occasions when I called to ask for his opinion of something. Even on the occasions he didn't care to provide a response he always found the time to reach back out to acknowledge the request.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Simon's passing. He was always pleasant and upbeat every time I spoke with him. A true gentleman to deal with in the contracting world. His lasting legacy will always be the reminder on how we should treat others. May he rest in peace.
