Thomas A. Solden

Thomas A. Solden, age 61, of Madison, OH, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at the David Simpson Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 26, 1962 in Painesville, OH the son of Kenneth and Janet (Mulhollen) Solden.Tom graduated from Madison High School and held degrees from Miami of Ohio (BA) and University of Illinois (MA). He also earned a Certificate in Medical Coding.Tom spent 15 years in Clarkston, WA and worked as a Medical Coder in nearby Lewiston, ID. He enjoyed the area immensly and loved mountain biking, hiking, and fishing. Tom was a special person and beloved by everyone who knew him.He is survived by his parents; brothers, Larry (Julie) Solden, Kenneth (Patricia) Mack-Solden, Gregory (Gia) Solden; sisters, Joanne (John) Ogurchak, Sandra Bliss, Tracy (Dave) Manypenny, Leslie Smith and many nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Thursday, October 5, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with a memorial service to follow at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison, OH.Online obituary and condolences may be viewed at www.behmfuneral.com
