Thomas Spitzig Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11 am at Incarnation Catholic Parish in Dayton, OH. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of service.
Thomas J. Spitzig was from Dayton and attended Chaminade High School and the University of Dayton. He served in the Army and worked for Dayton Daily News, Liberal Markets, McCall's, St. Regis, American Standard, A&P Supermarkets, and American Income Life Insurance.
Thomas J. Spitzig is survived by his daughter Susan Davis, son Timothy Spitzig, son Matthew Spitzig, grandchild Stephanie Bancroft, and grandchild Brian Spitzig. Preceding him in death were his wife Barbara Nurrenbrock, daughter Jane Burnett, son-in-law Randy Burnett, father Joseph Spitzig, mother Lela Unger, brother Dale Spitzig, and sister-in-law Elaine Spitzig.
