Thomas Gerald "Tom" Stalheber

Thomas "Tom" Gerald Stalheber, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Grandy, NC, on March 9, 2026. Born on December 9, 1953, in Newark, NJ, to the late Walter Joseph Stalheber and Janet Fay Brewster Stalheber, he was the husband of Ginger Stalheber for 25 years.

Tom dedicated his life to his family and his craft as an award-winning general contractor in the remodeling industry. He took immense pride in his work, contributing to the communities he lived in with skill and dedication.

Beyond his professional life, Tom found joy in windsurfing and tending to his beloved succulents, passions that brought him tranquility and happiness.

In addition to his devoted wife of 25 years, he is survived by his cherished daughter, Madeline Crawley, and her husband, Andrew; and his treasured grandchildren, Colton, Campbell, Frankie, and Hutch Crawley. Tom also leaves behind his brother, Walter Stalheber, along with numerous friends who will remember his quick wit, strength, and good-hearted demeanor.

Tom's family will honor his memory privately, reflecting on the love and joy he brought into their lives. His spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
