Thomas Staunton

Thomas Staunton Passed away suddenly on August 10, 2020 at the age of 76. preceded in death by his wife Veronica Staunton. He was the Loving father of Peter Staunton and the late Veronica M. Bocchicchio (Anthony). He is also survived his 4 loving grandchildren Riley, Alexa, Carra and Reagan. He was also survived by his brother-in-law 's John (Margaret), Shamus, of Curry Sligo Ireland and Joseph (Martina). His sister-in-law 's Bridget Sullivan, Evelyn Duffy, Margaret Duffy and the late Philomena and Bernard Finn, Maureen Duffy, Francis Sullivan and Maureen Duffy and Many cousins, nieces and nephews. Thomas was an only child who married into a very large Irish family. He was very involved with his family & his community. He worked many years at Boyd's Men's Department Store. Thomas was very proud of his Irish heritage. He was very active in the Irish community, Including being a member of the Donegal society and Mayo society. He enjoyed Irish music and watching Gaelic football matches. Relatives, friends, members of the Commodore Barry Center, and former coworkers at Boyd's Department store are invited to Tom's life celebration Wednesday; August 19th from 9am to 10 am at Maternity BVM Church 9920 Old Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19115 followed by his Funeral Mass at 10am. His Interment at Resurrection Cemetery will be private.
