He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, whether it was playing pull tabs, or bingo, hitting the golf course or bowling alley, dancing with Shirley, watching his favorite westerns, or relaxing with a good word search. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thomas is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Shirley; son, Scott Stickney of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Sherry (Troy) Mann of Hiawatha; grandchildren, Hunter (Ellie) Mann of Lisbon, Iowa, and Makenna Mann (Jacob Sadilek) of Cedar Rapids; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Beau of Lisbon; honorary son, Abdouramane (Emily) Bila of North Liberty, Iowa; brother, Jim (Jane) Stickney of North Liberty; honorary brother, Denny (Jean) Amdahl; and brother-in-law, Bill Jurgensen.
