Thomas Robert Stoner

Thomas Robert Stoner of Pensacola passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
He was born in Pensacola, Florida on September 4, 1948. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Cain Stoner and his father, Robert Allen Stoner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Stoner; his daughter, Lisa Stoner Henley; his granddaughter, Amber Kathleen Henley; two brothers, Clifford Stoner (Marie) and Joseph Stoner (Deanna); a beloved aunt, Letha Hobbs, and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
He was retired from the Naval Air Station working in the accounting department and received numerous accommodations for his service to our military. He was also a member of the Beulah Land Quartet having traveled all over the northwest Florida area sharing his gift of music to churches and gospel music festivals. He was a lover of gospel music and, in fact, recorded his own album. His favorite instrument was the guitar which was his greatest hobby, singing, recording gospel music, and giving lessons to those who wished to learn.
A memorial service for Thomas Robert Stoner will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South (100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, Florida 32505) with Reverend Malcom Thomas officiating.
