Thomas A. Stratton

Thomas A. Stratton, (Tom), 85 of Stone Mountain, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family 1/4/26. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. He attended Westtown School and graduated from Penn State University. He married Faith in April 1963 and they shared 62 years of a wonderful marriage. Tom enjoyed a career with American Seating selling stadium and theatre seating. He was proud of his role with venues including Fox Theatre, Turner Field and the Dean Smith Center. Tom went on to enjoy an active retirement filled with travel, gourmet club, Gwinnett Senior Leadership program and many activities at Park Springs retirement community. Tom had many hobbies including: Genealogy, writing a self published book "When Seabirds Fly to Land", and playing guitar. Tom was proud of building a house on Lake Lanier and always had ideas of further improvements to the property. The lake house was a great place where family and friends shared and built many memories. His family always knew they were his top priority. He was an outstanding husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and is survived by his wife Faith, son Chris Stratton (Robin ) and daughters Susan Stratton Harris ( Tracy )and Melissa Stratton ( Wendy ). His brothers Stan, Bob and sister Judy. Grandchildren Rachel and Emily Stratton, Megan ( Billy ), Benjamin and Meredith Harris, and Parker Barnett
Memorial service to be held at the Community Hall at Pebblebrook Facility of Park Springs 5610 New Bermuda Rd, Stone Mountain, Ga 30087 - must enter through the main security gate.
Visitation 10-11:30 Memorial service 11:30 to 12 on Saturday, January 24th, 2026
