Valma Stavron Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Snellville on Mar. 12, 2026.
Valma Jewell Wall Stavron, age 95, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Valma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve S. Stavron; her children, Stephanie Greenley (John) and Steven Bruce Stavron; her parents, Emeron Edward Wall and Elva May Hunt Wall; and her siblings, Neldon E. Wall, Virgil Keith Wall, Kenneth Blaine Wall Sr., and Viola May Wall.

She is survived by her brother, Bruce Wall; her children, Carolyn Wilbourn (Donald), Irene Keanum, JoAnne Winsor (Mark), Judy Rohlik (Ron), Sarah Getchell (Skip), and Steven Scott Stavron (Allyson); along with 25 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Valma was a devoted mother, grandmother, and faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. Her life was marked by quiet strength, deep faith, and an unwavering love for her family. Music filled the home where her children grew up, and they fondly remember listening to her play the piano and sharing classical music together. She loved art and was a talented artist and seamstress, using her hands and gifts to create beautiful things and bless the lives of those around her.

She loved the scriptures and often read them with her children, teaching gospel principles with patience and kindness. Her faithful example left a lasting impression on her family and helped guide their lives. Family vacations to Myrtle Beach became cherished traditions filled with laughter and precious time together.

Even in the later years of her life, when many memories had faded, her faith remained strong. She continued to remember the Lord's Prayer and the words of the beloved Primary song, "I Am a Child of God."

Valma leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, creativity, and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
