There are no other words to say other than Tommy was simply the best! He had a heart the size of Ireland and the map of it on his face. I loved him so dearly from the time he taught me how to balance on a two-wheeled bike in Wausau while visiting Aunt Mary, Uncle Charlie, and our cousins. He always had a smile and a such a great love of family, and he treated my mother like a queen. I will miss his wonderful smile and will always see his face whenever I think of beloved family members we have lost. Our deepest condolences to the entire Tappa family. Please know that our hearts are broken to hear this news, but that we know he is in heaven this very day, probably having a pint with Uncle Lloyd, Aunt Catherine, and Jimmy. See you at the end of the rainbow, Tommy...you were greatly loved!

Tom was the perfect example of a Great Husband, Father and Grandfather. A man who always put family before himself whether it be taking care of his wife the past few years, being there for his children, and a loving grandfather.
Tom could make a short story last longer than most, but was enjoyable watching him tell it and fun to listen to.
He certainly will be missed by his family and all,
who knew him. That includes his deer hunting friends who had looked forward to hunting with him again this deer season
