Tom was a graduate of St. John Fisher University and received his Masters degree from Long Island University. He worked as an administrator for the Department of VA Medical Centers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, A. Charita Cauley and brother, John J. Terp, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis A. (Wayman) Terp, son Michael T. Terp, wife Beth Anne, grandchildren Thomas M. and Geraldine L. Terp; siblings, Dorthea Marie Wehmann, husband Douglas of Goshen, CT and Elizabeth DeBartolo, husband Robert of Richfield, CT and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street, is assisting with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association or American Diabetes Association. Condolences may be left at www.bruggerfuneralhomes.com.
