Thomas John Brunette, 62, of Abrams, passed away from a long illness on May 7, 2025 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence.
He was born on January 10, 1963 to Kenneth and Nathalie (Marquardt) Brunette in Green Bay. Tom graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1981. He later went on to earn his Associate's Degree in Accounting from NWTC. Tom started his career at Larsen's Foods and then moved on to Green Bay Cheese (Saputo Cheese). Over his 31 years there, he achieved the position of Warehouse Inventory Coordinator.
Tom was an avid lover of the outdoors and he was an adventurer. He enjoyed camping at Spectacle Lake in Eagle River, and he had a love for waterfalls. Tom especially enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach in the winters. He was also a devoted Packer fan and attended many games.
Tom is survived by his partner, Gail Garcia; step-children: Carrie Garcia, Jennifer (Dustin) Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, and James Smeester; step-grandchildren: Veda and Josie; siblings: Steven (the late Judy) Brunette, Richard (Rosemary) Brunette, Nancy (Gary) Hatton, Jim (Tess) Brunette, and Michael (Elissa) Brunette; nieces and nephews: Kari, Kelly, David, Katie, Amanda, Thomas, Brittany, John, Bob, Sherry, Peter, David, Michelle and Brandon. Tom is further survived by many other great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Patrick Brunette; sister-in-law, Judy Brunette; and his 2 furry friends, Misha and Fred.
Family and friends will have the opportunity to gather on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at Grace Lutheran Church (321 S Madison St, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Funeral Ceremony will take place immediately following at 11:30 am.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ashley, Ashley, and Nicole from Unity Hospice for their compassionate and loving care. The family would also like to recognize all of the staff at the Meng Residence, especially Chaplain Nathan.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to The Meng Residence in honor of Tom. As Tom had a deep love for animals, donations may also be made to The NEW Zoo or The Green Bay Humane Society.
