Thomas "Tom" Edward Green, 75, of Princeton passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at WVU Princeton Community Hospital.
Born December 20, 1950 in Welch, WV he was the son of the late Onie Green and Dorothy Shelton.
Tom worked as a coal miner and he learned different traits from the different places he lived as he was a man with many talents. In his leisure he enjoyed working on car engines, and spending time with his family.
Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Green; and brother, Henry Green.
Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving wife, Betty Rutledge Green; sons, Pete Green (Jenny) and Billy Green; grandchildren, Rachael Cox (Zack), Rhyan Green, and Savannah Green; great granddaughter, Raelynn Cox; sister, Shelby Allen (Richard); and brother, Roger Green.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill. Following the visitation and keeping with Mr. Greens wishes he will be cremated.
